you better believe LSU, Fla, etc. has learned from this one-- pressure
Woodson and let Kentucky beat themselves. just like the undefeated
streak the Indianapolis Colts had two seasons ago, everyone figured
out right at the end of season and during the playoffs how to handle
them. Just pressure the QB and the offense stops clicking. if Brooks
can marshall the troops and show them how to adjust and handle it,
we'll grow as a result of this lesson and get even stronger.
On the plus side, UK piled up some statistics against a good defensive
team like Spurrier's Gamecocks. if it weren't for the turnovers,
there would have been a different outcome. I think a little coaching
and preparing can reduce the chances that all those turnovers (that
immediately converted into points) will pile up again.
sometimes a trip to the woodshed can teach you a lesson and make you
stronger. I hope it works out that way for us.
