Actually, Sam, credit needs to be given to Wisconsin.
Their -ONE- turnover was legit. They executed just about perfectly,
even with very solid defense from MSU.
And Neitzel was well covered and didn't hit his shots.
Think about it: ONE turnover. Out of all the possible chances for
Wisconsin to commit charging fouls, set moving screens, dribble the
ball out of bounds, throw the ball away, make bad passes leading to
turnovers, or get the ball stolen, and against a good MSU defensive
effort, they turned it over ONCE.
ONCE.
That's really amazing. Almost unheard of.
This Wisconsin team plays Ninja Basketball, frankly. They slow it
down, grind their offense, make token attempts here and there to post
up Butch, but still work it for good open jump shots, and no matter
the tempo of the game, the Badgers nail those jump shots.
MSU had plenty of good looks, and some close in layup attempts, but
didn't hit their shots.
A disappointing loss, sure, but this Wisconsin team is on a roll.
They really -are- Princeton on Steroids, minus the backdoor cuts.
