Before the season started, I had this pegged as a possible upset.
Before the season started, I was an idiot.

ASU needs to be wary here, OSU is better than they showed vs Cincy,
they got the wake up call and the tune-up. The only reason I'm not taking
OSU is because I just know Riley is gonna find a way to serve it up to the
Devils.

> OREGON at STANFORD
Over the last decade or so, Stanford has thrown a monkey wrench into
a few of Oregon's more promising seasons. The talent gap may be wider right
now than it was those years, but a road conference game is a road
conference game. If Oregon plays at all to par, this should not be that
close. IF. What a word.

> WASHINGTON at UCLA
Probably the most intruiging game this week. After the Utah debacle,
who knows about UCLA. I do know this: if UCLA loses, Dorrell will be on the
hottest coaching seat in the country (if he isn't already). I think this is
gonna be very tight, lower scoring game. UCLA's running game creates the
tiniest of edges.
UCLA 20 UW 17
> WASHINGTON STATE at USC
2 of SC's first 3 opponents come from about 30 miles apart in the
Northwest. That's the most interesting thing I can say about this game.

Now, thanks to Usenet, we know this is not true.
