Poll inertia doesn't help you in the ACC tourney since they do the
selections the same day of the championship game. Plus, in that scenario
Duke would have dropped in the polls again due to losing to UNC, which puts
them back out of a #1 seed picture, I gotta think (though clearly on that
bubble, I suppose). Hard to say then. Assuming UNC won their first game
and lost in the semis to Clemson in your scenario, then yeah, it's still
possible. Duke would be fifth and maybe sixth or seventh in the country at
that point, though likely fourth or so in RPI (maybe still third). Yeah,
hard to say what happens there. Duke might get a #1 out west just because
we bring more fans to the tourney. :-)

Probably way too early to bother with that stuff, really. Three weeks of
games still left...I'm still thinking Memphis could lose one other than
just to UT. Somehow.
