Great game! I was flipping back and forth between it and LSU-Florida.
It just seemed like USC felt they didn't need to go all out to beat
Stanford and that they would turn it on and pull away in the 2nd half.
So Stanford just kept hanging around and hanging around and eventually
they started making plays and getting a few breaks. The last drive for
Stanford was hard to believe. Completing a pass on 4th and about 20
and getting a first down by inches? Completing a fade route for a TD
on 4th down with the game on the line? Stanford?

Wild.

Oh and hats off to the Stanford D-line. They were getting a lot of
heat on Booty and making him throw bad passes. The LB Snyder(?) for
Stanford seemed to be all over the field in the 4th quarter.

As for LSU-Florida, for about 30 minutes there, I thought Cal was
about to go to #1 without playing. Oh well, they probably would have
found a way to vault Ohio State past Cal anyway.
